What "no hidden charges" actually costs you
Movers do not compete on the hourly rate you are quoted. They compete on what gets added to it afterwards. We do not publish a rate here — you will get yours from Lyn, for your actual job — but here is the whole list of what does and does not get added to it, side by side.
One hourly rate, and the truck is in it
Local moves are hourly. One rate covers the crew and the truck, and you agree it with Lyn before you book. Crew size is the one thing that moves it: a bigger crew costs more per hour and usually less in total, because the clock stops sooner.

A base rate, then fuel, then stairs, then fees
Hourly, from the time we start to the time we finish. No deposit to hold your date, and no charges added after the fact. Ask us what a job your size usually runs and we will tell you what we can before you book — and tell you plainly when we need to see it first.

Competitor columns describe common industry practice, not any specific named company, and an em-dash means we have not surveyed it rather than that it is zero. Fees vary — always ask any mover, including us, for their full fee schedule in writing before you book.
